Core Objectives of the M&E Officer Position:

The Monitoring and evaluation Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring the effective implementation and continuous improvement of programs within the organizlation. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills, communication abilities, and a commitment to quality assurance. M&E officer is desired to implement the field activities stipulated time frame and resources.

Job Description:

  • To ensure regular field Monitoring visit to project sites.
  • Arrange de-briefing session with staff on project indicators.
  • Develop human interest stories relating to project activities.
  • Ensure accountability and transparency to beneficiaries in all project related actions.
  • Ensure that project beneficiaries have access to information and installing proper Complaint Response mechanism.
  • Conduct analysis of base line survey and other data as required for project documentation.
  • Ensure follow of training implementation and provide on job support in fields.
  • Conduct capacity building trainings.
  • Any other task assigned by supervisor.
  • Take snapshot of field activities & ensure proper record keeping of program activities.
  • Documents bottlenecks, problems and issues, and proposes effective solutions
  • Ensures monitoring framework\plan is updated on regular basis
  • Submitting daily updates, and  weekly and monthly reports on the targets achieved and the progress of the project activities agreed upon in the cooperation agreements and detailed work plans; 
  • Developing monthly work plan based on priority challenges/issues.
  • Ensuring project indicator data base is updated and maintained on regular basis.

 

Eudcation

  • 16 Years of Education in social sciences or related fields
  • 3 Years of experience in NGO Sector.

Skills

  • Familiarity with local culture and norms.
  • Having strong analytical and observation skills.
  • Good written skills in all type reporting formats.
  • Computer skills, including MS Office, e­mail and presentation.
  • Good command on Pashto and English Language.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to remote refugee villages.
  • Strong commitment to working with Afghan refugee communities and promoting education for all.

 

Note: This role will required field visits in Peshawar & Kohat Region. This position is for Female.
