Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan is looking for a seasoned and dynamic Assistant Manager Finance. This position is based at Central Office, Karachi.

Key Responsibilities

  • Budget Preparation and Monitoring:
    • Collaborate with program teams to develop project budgets for proposals and modifications.
    • Ensure budgets align with donor requirements and organizational policies.
    • Monitor budget utilization and provide recommendations for adjustments.
  • Donor Reporting:
    • Prepare timely and accurate financial reports for donors, ensuring compliance with donor guidelines.
    • Maintain detailed records of donor-funded projects, including expenditures and balances
  • Financial Analysis and Forecasting:
    • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and risks.
    • Prepare forecasts to support strategic planning and resource allocation.
  • Compliance and Policy Adherence:
    • Ensure adherence to donor regulations, organizational policies, and accounting standards.
    • Promote a culture of accountability and transparency in financial management.
  • Team Collaboration and Support:
    • Provide guidance and training to finance staff on donor budgeting and reporting.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of financial processes.
  • Internal and External Audit:
    • Coordinate donor audits and ensure all financial documentation is complete and accurate.

Education, Experience & Competencies

  • MBA in Finance or related field or ACCA Qualified
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in finance department
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Technical ability and willingness to learn new systems as required for the role.
  • Ability to getting things done and end to end processing with sense of ownership and attention to detail.
