The Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan is seeking a seasoned and Dynamic Supply Chain Officer/Assistant for its Central Office in Karachi under GAVI Project.
The incumbent will be responsible for facilitating communication and collaboration with and among various departments to address the needs of the collective institutional goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement and sourcing of OPEX Item.
- Obtaining quotations from suppliers, analyzing and evaluating these to make / recommend effective purchasing decision.
- Meeting suppliers to strengthen business relationship; understand market trends, introduction of new products and resolve day to day issues.
- Monitor and Improve purchase turnaround time.
- Ensuring proper documentation of all purchasing transactions.
- Logistics and vehicle planning for movement of goods from Karachi to desired destination considering minimal inventory carrying cost/ warehousing cost and adequate truck load.
- Invoice controlling and tracking of supplier’s payment.
- Co-ordinate with all stake holders regarding material ordering as per their demand.
Qualification & Experience:
- ERP familiarization
- Bachelor’s in commerce or relevant field
- 2 years of experience preferably in a healthcare organization.
- Strong record of using Excel to build functional models and tools.
