Job Summary

The role involves developing and maintaining grant tracking systems, ensuring timely submission of reports. The role also involves maintaining accurate records of grants, reports, and communication materials, and sharing best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting and Grants Management:

  • Develop and maintain grant tracking systems and calendars.
  • Ensure timely submission of narrative and other periodic reports to donors.
  • Review and edit reports for quality, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Coordinate with program teams to gather data and information for reporting.
  • Analyze and provide feedback on program performance and progress. 

Grants Development:

  • Research and identify funding opportunities.
  • Assist in developing concept notes, proposals, and expressions of interest.
  • Coordinate with program teams to ensure proposals align with program goals.
  • Ensure compliance with donor requirements and regulations. 

Communication:

  • Develop and implement a communication strategy.
  • Coordinate with program teams to disseminate program information.
  • Maintain relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Represent the organization in relevant forums and meetings. 

Monitoring and Evaluation:

  • Support program monitoring and evaluation activities.
  • Analyze data and provide insights for program improvement.

Documentation and Knowledge Management:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of grants, reports, and communication materials.
  • Ensure knowledge sharing and documentation of best practices.

Person Specification

Essential criteria
  • Master degree in International Development, social sciences, communication or related field.
  • 03 years of experience in grants management, reporting, and communication.
  • Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. 
Desirable criteria
  • Experience with donor regulations
  • Knowledge of program management and monitoring and evaluation principles.
