Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan, is looking for a competent Monitoring & Evaluation Officer based at Regional Office, Lower Chitral.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and implementation of the M&E framework for the project/program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and donor requirements.
  • Collaborate with program teams to design, develop, and implement mobile- or digital-based applications for data collection, reporting, and visualization. (Optional)
  • Assist in developing and implementation of data management and analysis strategy, including data flow processes, storage, validation, and security.
  • Coordinate with technical experts, health managers, and service providers to design M&E tools and methodologies
  • Develop and implement M&E plans, and data collection tools
  • Facilitate and support baseline, midline, and endline assessments, including coordination with external consultants or research teams.
  • Conduct regular field monitoring visits to assess the implementation of program activities, identify gaps, and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Prepare M&E reports, including progress updates, presentations, performance dashboards, analytical summaries, and lessons learned.
  • Manage and maintain the project databases, ensuring timely data entry, integrity, and accessibility.
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for program improvement.
  • Build the capacity of field teams and stakeholders in M&E tools, digital systems, and reporting requirements
  • Participate in planning and review meetings to provide M&E insights and technical input into decision-making
  • Identify, document, and disseminate success stories and best practices to support learning, visibility, and knowledge sharing across the program.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Public Health, Nutrition, IT or Social Science.
  • 2-3 years of experience working with nutrition or health programs (preferred).
  • Strong skills in data analysis on stata, SPSS, R, python and NVivo
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, mobile applications, data management software and report writing
