A well-respected non-profit organization, specializing in humanitarian and agricultural initiatives, is seeking dynamic candidates for the implementation of Agriculture Project in various districts of Punjab. this position is offered on a one-year contract basis with the possibility of extension.

Position Requirements:

Education and Experience

  • Minimum PhD or Master’s degree in Agriculture, Social Sciences or any related field.
  • Having minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience for dealing with Development Programs
  • Experience of dealing Better Cotton/Sustainable Cotton Programs will be given Priority
  • Having strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong experience in dealing with donors independently at National & International Level
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Good Understanding of finance, budgeting, reporting and Project Management

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist the Executive Director in coordinating day-to-day project activities.
  2. Closely collaborate with the leadership team to define annual or bi-annual planning, including roadmap, objectives, deliverables, and compliance requirements.
  3. Facilitate external visits and third-party audits of the project.
  4. Prepare reports, presentations, budgets, and other project documentation.
  5. Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely execution of defined project activities.
  6. Identify risks in project execution and ensure timely mitigation measures are implemented.
  7. Assist in budget monitoring, expense tracking, and financial reporting.
  8. Coordinate with relevant departments, vendors, consultants, and external stakeholders to mobilize resources and ensure tangible project outputs.
  9. Ensure timely communication among team members and partners regarding project implementation, challenges and progress.
  10. Design and implement innovative interventions and strategies to enhance project effectiveness across regions.
  11. Conduct surveillance visits to Producer Units across regions to ensure smooth project implementation on behalf of the organization.
  12. Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and improve project productivity.
  13. Coordinate with finance teams to ensure audits and compliance requirements are met.
  14. Perform any other tasks assigned to support the successful completion of key role requirements.
