Z.M.K. & Co. seeks applications from qualified, competent, and motivated individuals for the position of District Coordinator.The incumbent will provide overall leadership, coordination, and technical oversight for district-level implementation of the Community Friendly Child Initiative (CFCI), ensuring effective, inclusive, and timely delivery of integrated interventions across health (including immunization and nutrition), education, child protection (including birth registration), and WASH through participatory and SBC-driven approaches.
Purpose of the Job
To lead district-level planning, coordination, and implementation of CFCI, ensuring strong collaboration with government stakeholders, effective supervision of field teams, and alignment of community-driven interventions with district priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead overall planning, coordination, and implementation of project activities at district level.
- Supervise and provide technical guidance to Community Engagement Officers.
- Ensure implementation of participatory, community-driven approaches and development of inclusive Village Council Development Plans (VCDPs).
- Establish and maintain coordination with government departments and district administration.
- Facilitate district-level coordination forums to promote integrated service delivery.
- Oversee implementation of PRA and SBC approaches to address challenges in immunization, nutrition, education, child protection, and WASH.
- Strengthen community structures and ensure quality capacity-building initiatives.
- Monitor progress against targets, review data, and ensure timely reporting.
- Document lessons learned, best practices, and support evidence-based planning.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, accountability, and risk management standards.

Eligibility Criteria
Education
- Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Public Health, Education, Nutrition, Rural Development, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in community-driven development or social sector programmes.
- At least 4–5 years of experience in district-level coordination.
- Experience in multi-sectoral programming (health, immunization, nutrition, education, child protection, WASH).
- Proven experience in leading or coordinating district-level projects and community-based planning processes.
- Hands-on experience with participatory approaches (PRA, SBC, community-led planning).
Additional Requirements
- Strong coordination, planning, and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in Urdu and English; knowledge of Pashto and local context will be an advantage.
- Experience working in KP or hard-to-reach districts is preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and travel frequently to remote areas.
- High level of integrity, accountability, and commitment to inclusive development.
