Purpose
The ECOSEC Field Officer based in Peshawar will be responsible for the ECOSEC crisis/humanitarian emergency response, as well as for the design and full implementation of regular ECOSEC activities in the whole Pakistan.
Main Responsibilities:
1) Management and coordination of crisis response/relief programs / Ad-hoc distributions:
- Coordinate with PES departments and PRCS relief/crisis response to support victims of violence
2) Programme Management:
- Designs and implements a typical EcoSec programme.
- Collects data using data-collection tools and devices.
- Describes results and produces data visualizations.
- Analyses data collected using the household economy approach to identify economic security gaps and develop scenarios.
- Designs a suitable method for registering beneficiaries.
- Ensures that proper methods, planning, implementation, logistics, and reporting are used during aid distribution and can explain them.
- Contributes to analysing the security, socioeconomic, cultural, and political environment as it relates to the ICRC.
- Establish and keep regular contact with the program-targeted population as well as different economic actors linked to ECOSEC operation

Main Requirements:
1) University degree in Economics, Law, Agricultural Sciences, Nutrition, or a related field.
2) Minimum 4 years of work experience in a similar field, preferably in the humanitarian sector, and in a managerial position.
3) Good knowledge of KPK/Merged Districts contexts, ethnic groups, and cultural traits.
4) Excellent analytical and report-writing skills.
5) Experience working in a multicultural and multi-disciplinary team.
6) Proven program management skills and team-building competencies.
7) Leadership skills and capacity to support and coach ICRC and PRCS persons involved in operational activities. Experience in providing training is an asset.
8) Ability to work independently
9) Proficiency in computer skills (e.g., MS Office).
10) Fluency in English, Urdu and Pashtu is required.
