Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan, is looking for a competent Data Officer for its Karachi/Sindh Region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, clean, validate, and maintain nutrition and program data from all districts.
  • Conduct routine data quality checks and verification visits to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Train and mentor field staff (LHVs/RN) on data collection tools, reporting standards, and documentation practices.
  • Maintain project databases, ensuring secure storage, systematic backup, and ease of access for stakeholders.
  • Monitor nutrition supply usage and maintain accurate stock tracking.
  • Compile, analyze, and interpret nutrition indicators to identify trends, gaps, and actionable insights.
  • Prepare high-quality reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) for the project team, regional management, and donors.
  • Contribute to dashboards, presentations, and analytical products to support strategic and operational decisions.
  • Work closely with the Project Coordinator to ensure data supports implementation, field supervision, and corrective actions.
  • Provide technical guidance on data-related issues, and support audits, evaluations, and learning initiatives

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Public Health, Nutrition, Data Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Have at least 1 year of experience working in nutrition, health, or community-based programs with a strong focus on data.
  • Are highly proficient in MS Excel, data management tools, and preferably other data visualization or statistical software.
  • Have exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Can work under pressure, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Communicate clearly and collaborate seamlessly with field teams, project staff, and regional stakeholders.
  • Are committed to ensuring data drives action, accountability, and program impact.
