Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan, is looking for competent Lady Health Visitor/Midwife for its Karachi and Sindh Region(s).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop monthly work plans and implement nutrition field activities effectively.
- Register and follow up children under five, pregnant and lactating mothers, adolescents, and CBAS for growth monitoring in project villages and BHCs.
- Identify and manage cases of stunting, growth faltering, SAM, MAM, and underweight mothers.
- Ensure follow-up of defaulter children and continuity of care.
- Provide timely supplements to beneficiaries and educate caregivers on proper use.
- Conduct awareness sessions, cooking demonstrations, and nutrition education for mothers.
- Maintain accurate records of LNS, nutrition supplies, education sessions, and project data.
- Ensure timely data entry, reporting, and application of MNCH best practices.
- Ensure calibration of all growth monitoring equipment and their PPM timely.
- Work with regional team to ensure that all case management is done as per protocols and record keeping is done exceptionally.
- Provide support to regional operations as and when required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma in Lady Health Visitor / Midwifery from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC).
- Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in community-based nutrition, MNCH, or public health programs.
- Prior experience in data collection, reporting, and use of digital health/nutrition systems will be an asset.
